The Tourism Industry Association New Zealand is pleased to announce the host region for the New Zealand Tourism Conference 2004 is TAUPO.
The NZTC will be held 23-25 August 2004 and the theme for the conference is Tourism - Proudly Made in New Zealand.

Over nine percent of New Zealanders are employed in tourism which is worth over $15.2 billion annually to the country. Nine percent of New Zealand’s Gross Domestic Product comes from tourism and the sector is the largest single export industry accounting for 15.7% of all exports.
