- Norm Thompson won the Crowe Horwath International Sir Jack Newman Award for an outstanding contribution to the tourism industry
- Hamish Pinkton won the PATA Young Tourism Leader Award – presented to a young person, 35 or under, who clearly stands out within the tourism industry as a young entrepreneur and inspirational leader
The Awards were presented at the Wellington Airport Summit Dinner, Wellington, 1 October 2013.
