Pre-scheduled appointments with New Zealand Exhibitors

Media delegates have opportunities to pre-schedule 15-minute appointments with New Zealand Exhibitors. By pre-scheduling appointments Media delegates can:

  • Use your time at TRENZ more efficiently
  • Make sure  you meet the Exhibitors you are most interested in
  • Avoid waiting around until an Exhibitor is free to talk to you

Make new contacts at networking functions

Networking with Exhibitors and other New Zealand tourism industry leaders and international Buyers is an important part of the TRENZ experience. Included:

  • Southern Lakes Welcome function (7 May 2012): Make new connections and touch base with established contacts. A great opportunity to scope out story ideas and generate leads.
     
  • Regional Rendezvous (8 May 2012): network informally on the exhibition floor with New Zealand Exhibitors, international Buyers and other media delegates. Held immediately after the last formal appointment of the day, Regional Rendezvous will feature regional food and beverage specialities. 
     
  • TRENZ Farewell Function (10 May 2012): A final chance to socialise and network with other TRENZ delegates.

Media familiarisation tours during TRENZ enable you to experience what makes the TRENZ host region such an amazing visitor destination.

Familiarisation tours have been tailored to meet the interests of our international media delegates. Details will be available in early 2012.
 

Media at TRENZ

About 30 international and 30 domestic journalists from news, features and trade media organisations will be invited to attend TRENZ 2012.

The Media Programme runs in parallel with the main TRENZ exhibition.
