New Zealand Tourism Regional Leadership Series
New Zealand Tourism Regional Leadership Series 2011
|
The Tourism Industry Association (TIA) was on the road in March and April 2011 to hear members' views on the state of the industry. With 2011 an election year, this was a chance to relook at the industry’s priorities and for operators to have a say and contribute directly to the Tourism Election Manifesto process. The road shows were also an opportunity to map out some long term goals for the sector. Programme 1. Creating our future - short and long term goals (2 hours 30 minutes) Short term goals (1-3 years): what the industry sees as priorities in the next three years and what it might expect from an incoming government at the end of 2011? Long term goals (>3 years): where the industry wants to be in 5,10 or even 20 years time? 2. TIA Insights research and data presentation (30 minutes) 3. TIA update (30 minutes) |
