Evan brings plenty of hands-on experience to TIA. He’s worked for a charter flight operator, spent 10 years as a raft guide, and did his time as a silver service waiter and cocktail bartender. He actually got his first taste of tourism growing up in a central city Wellington motel.

Evan’s usually meeting with members, updating them on TIA’s work and finding out what we can do to help them. He also delivers workshops and training – often around risk management and safety.

A former rock climber, skydiver and trail builder, these days Evan gets his action on a bike – mountain biking and commuting.
