Great reasons to join TIA

"Our business will save more than $10,000 a year on ACC costs. We really appreciate the efforts TIA made for us on this matter. This is a massive reduction and shows the benefits of having a strong member organisation to tackle these issues on our behalf."

Why you should join TIA

The landscape in tourism is continuing to change at a mind-boggling rate. In this environment our industry needs leadership that constantly finds ways of both protecting and growing tourism’s health and profile.

  • Leadership - with over 1500 members from the big tourism players to the small, we are the best placed organisation to lead from the front. We have access to the people and organisations whose decisions affect your business

  • Save money – you will get significant benefits, including discounts on TIA-organised events such as TRENZ and discounts of up to 50% on a range of accommodation, transport and business services plus bottom-line savings from our commercial partners – Mercury, Westpac, JLT/Lumley and Telecom

  • Free, expert advice – you’ll get support when you need it from the TIA team, on everything from health and safety to dealing with the media in a crisis. We are always available and keen to help

  • Advocacy – we speak up when it counts, influencing political decision makers and vigorously representing our members at all levels of the government, at meetings, in submissions and through the media

Read our Join TIA brochure to find out more reasons why you should become a member.

"In my view TIA has been going from strength to strength over the past few years. They are providing leadership which we know will create a stronger, more profitable customer focused industry in the future. On a day to day basis the advocacy and industry liaison roles TIA fulfils is critical to the industry."
