TIA is New Zealand tourism’s peak industry body. It is the only independent association that works on behalf of the businesses and organisations, large and small, that make up the $30 billion tourism economy. TIA’s mission is “through leadership, influence and action, achieve tangible benefits for the tourism industry and New Zealand”.   

As leader of the Tourism 2025 growth framework, TIA understands where the biggest impacts are needed for the industry to achieve our aspirational growth targets. With the support of our members and business partners, we advocate on the projects and initiatives that will truly make a positive difference to tourism, both now and in the future. The more members and support TIA has, the stronger our collective voice and the more influence we have on the decision makers.

TIA membership fees

We rely on members’ honesty to ensure everybody makes a fair contribution to supporting our work.  TIA membership fees are based on the size of your organisation. If your turnover is less than $6 million, your fee is based on the number of staff in your organisation. If your annual turnover is greater than $6 million, the fees are based on turnover. Fees can be paid by credit card, direct credit, cheque or by a monthly direct debit.
